Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Paawrent application and web platform (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (such as a veterinary hospital), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Paawrent provides an all-in-one pet care platform that enables: • Hospital booking — browse veterinary hospitals, view vet profiles, and book appointments • Freelance vet consultations — book online consultations via chat or video call • In-app chat — communicate directly with hospitals and veterinarians • Video calls — conduct real-time video consultations • Pet management — maintain digital profiles including medical history Paawrent acts as a platform connecting pet owners with veterinary care providers. We are not a veterinary service provider and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service is not intended for emergency veterinary care.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email registration. You agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account You must be at least 20 years old in Thailand (per PDPA B.E. 2562) or 13 years old in Singapore and Hong Kong. One account per person — you may not create multiple accounts or transfer your account.
4. Appointment Booking
When booking appointments: • Availability is subject to the hospital's schedule and vet availability • Paawrent does not guarantee availability at any specific time • Confirmed appointments create a direct relationship between you and the hospital or vet • You are responsible for arriving on time • Please cancel appointments you cannot attend in a timely manner Appointments not confirmed by the hospital within 48 hours will be automatically expired.
5. Online Consultations
Online consultations (chat and video) with freelance veterinarians are subject to: • Consultations are for general veterinary guidance only and are not a substitute for in-person examination • Consultations are not intended for emergency care — if your pet requires urgent care, visit the nearest veterinary hospital immediately • Veterinarians provide professional opinions based on the information you share • Consultation notes are confidential and accessible only to the consulting veterinarian • Video consultations require a stable internet connection; Paawrent is not responsible for call quality issues caused by your network
6. Payment Terms
Payment Model: Paawrent uses a hold-and-capture model powered by Stripe. • When you book a paid consultation, the full fee is held (authorized) on your payment method • The hold is captured (charged) only after the vet marks the consultation as complete • If cancelled before the scheduled start time, the hold is released (no charge) Platform Fee: A 15% platform fee is included in the displayed price. The price you see is the total amount. Currencies: • Thai Baht (THB) — minimum THB 20 • Singapore Dollar (SGD) — minimum SGD 0.50 • Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) — minimum HKD 4.00 All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Paawrent does not store your full payment card details.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation by User: • Cancel at any time before the scheduled start time — the hold will be released with no charge • Cancellations are immediate and cannot be undone No-Show Policy: • If you do not join within 15 minutes of the start time, the consultation may be marked as no-show and the held amount captured Cancellation by Veterinarian: • The payment hold is automatically released Refunds: • Processed on a case-by-case basis • Returned to your original payment method • Processing takes 5-10 business days • Both full and partial refunds may be issued To request a refund, contact [email protected].
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to: • Provide accurate pet and personal information • Use the Service only for lawful purposes • Not misrepresent your identity • Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service • Not upload harmful or inappropriate content • Not harass, abuse, or harm others • Not attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems • Not use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service • Respect intellectual property rights • Keep your login credentials secure
9. Vet & Hospital Responsibilities
Veterinarians and hospitals are independent professionals and entities — not employees, agents, or contractors of Paawrent. • Paawrent verifies basic credentials during onboarding but does not guarantee the quality or outcomes of veterinary care • Veterinarians and hospitals are solely responsible for medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment • Paawrent is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage from veterinary services obtained through the Service • Disputes regarding veterinary care should be directed to the relevant vet or hospital
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, trademarks, logos, and design elements of the Service are the exclusive property of Paawrent Co., Ltd. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service without prior written consent. User-generated content (reviews, pet photos) remains your property, but you grant Paawrent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content in connection with the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind • Paawrent is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Paawrent's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim • Paawrent is not liable for the acts or omissions of veterinarians, hospitals, or other third parties
12. Dispute Resolution
1. Contact us first — email [email protected] with a detailed description. We will attempt to resolve within 30 days. 2. Mediation — if unresolved, both parties agree to attempt mediation before legal action. 3. Legal proceedings — any legal action shall be filed exclusively in the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
13. Termination
By Paawrent: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, your conduct may harm others, your account is inactive for an extended period, or law requires it. By You: Delete your account at any time through App settings (Profile > Delete Account). Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that should survive (Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, Dispute Resolution) remain in effect.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes take effect 30 days after notification through the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. For users in Singapore and Hong Kong, nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
